Allies X Baby Country Reader (England’s Ending!)

:iconkittydividerplz::iconkittydivider2plz::iconkittydivider3plz::iconkittydivider4plz::iconkittydividerrbow2plz:

Everyone gasped in surprise when little (c/n) began to crawl towards Britain. He stared down at her with disbelief that she actually chose him. A small smile formed on the Englishman’s face as he bent down and scooped up the young country into his arms.

She looked up at her new big brother and a silly cute smile appeared on the baby’s face. It warmed his heart seeing her adorable smile.

“Hi there, love.” He whispered softy to her.

Blinking a couple times, (c/n) giggled and quietly rested her head against her brother’s shirt.
Britain held down the urge to squeal in delight. He looked up and noticed the rest of the Allies staring at him.

“What are you staring at?” he questioned.

“Britain, dude. Are you sure you wanna do this?” America asked in a worried tone.

The Englishman resisted the impulse to snap at his younger brother, and sighed in annoyance.

“Of course I want to do this.” He uttered calmly.

“Mon ami, you know what happened last time.” France spoke gesturing to America.

“What are you talking about, wanker.” Britain asked, even though he knew.

“You know perfectly well what France is talking about, aru.” China said, standing next to France.

Russia just smiled and watched.

England looked down at the sleeping nation in his arms, and back at his fellow Allies.

“What are you all trying to say? That I can’t raise a country?! You won’t take her away from me!” Britain shouted defensively while trying not to wake (c/n).

The others stood there in disbelief and guilt as Britain stormed off without another word. He held (c/n) more protectively as he exited the building.

“Bloody wankers don’t know what they’re talking about!”  He grumbled as he made his way to his car.

Britain sighed in relief when he finally made it home. His car was filled with new baby merchandise and such for his new baby sister. He quickly calmed himself and felt like a fool for acting so childish with his Allies.

Trying to forget about his scene earlier, he unbuckled you from your car seat and picked you up.

“Alright, love. Ready to see your new home?” he asked, unlocking the front door.

You merely yawned in response, but tried to stay awake making Britain chuckle.

“Poor thing,” he said, sitting down on his couch with you in his lap, “you must be exhausted.”

“Hi there, Britain!” a squeaky voice spoke nearby.

“Flying Mint Bunny! How are you?” Britain asked the adorable creature.

The bunny flew closer and rested on the Englishman’s shoulder.

“I’m well-who is this?” the bunny asked getting a closer look at you.

“This is my new sister, (c/n).” he said.

You stared in amazement at the creature before you. Reaching out, you touched the bunny’s soft fur. The rabbit floated closer and gently rubbed his cheek against yours, making you squeal in happiness. Britain chuckled at the adorable site he was witnessing.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door that caught England’s attention.

“I’ll be back soon, bye (c/n)!” Flying Mint Bunny said before floating away.

Britain stood up, with you still in his arms, and began walking to the front door. You’re eyes began to water when the mystical creature disappeared. Britain noticed your sad state, and kissed your head.

“Don’t be sad, love. You’ll see Flying Mint Bunny again.” He said before opening the front door.

There stood a worried looking America, his hands intertwined with each other in a guilty manner.

“Oh, hello America.” Britain greeted him.

“Hey, Britain. Can I come in?” America asked.

Britain was hesitate for a second before opening the door wider, “Of course.”

America followed his older brother to the living room and sat down on the sofa. You sat in between them, not really knowing what was going on. So you decided to entertain yourself by playing with America’s hand. The American chuckled and wiggled his fingers, making you laugh cutely.

“So why are you here?” Britain asked, trying not to sound rude.

“Dude, you know we didn’t mean anything bad earlier. We were just concerned for (c/n) sake.” America said, looking down at the young nation.

“I know, I shouldn’t have acted so childishly. Maybe this was a bad idea.” Britain said, making America’s eyes widened.

“No! That’s not what I was suggesting! Dude, you were an awesome brother.” America said.

“R-really?” Britain asked.

“Totally! I mean, it was your first time being an older brother after all, and then there was that war…but other than that you totally kicked ass, bro!”

“Hum…So I didn’t completely screw up raising you, eh? Maybe I can do this again.” England said confidently.

“That’s the spirit, dude! Now on a serious note, if you ever start a war with her, I will make sure she wins…”

“G-got it.” Britain uttered nervously.

“See ya, bro!” America shouted before heading out.

England sighed when he heard the door close, and looked down at you, “So that’s your big brother, America.”

He noticed your breathing has softened and your eyes had closed, “Did you fall asleep on me? Silly girl.” He said before heading to your bedroom.

He began to change you into your new (f/c) footie pajamas. Since it was a little chilly he gently wrapped you up in a soft baby blanket, and set you down in your crib. You snuggled into your warm blanket cocoon and your mind drifted off to dream land.

Britain lovingly stroked your cheek and kissed your forehead.

“You have a very long life ahead of you, love. I’m so happy you chose me, goodnight, (c/n), my little fairy.”

He turned on a night light, began to exit your room. He looked back one last time and smiled, “I won’t fail you (c/n).” he whispered before heading to his study room.

The next morning Britain woke up with a loud yawn. Noticing he was still his clothes from yesterday, he looked at the clock.

“10:15am? I can’t believe I slept in this late!” he scolded himself before heading to check on you.

Looking down in your crib, there was Flying Mint Bunny cuddled up next to your sleeping form. The Englishman mentally squealed at the cuteness and raced to find his camera.

You’re Pov:

Sipping your morning tea, you looked out the window gazing out at the beautiful scenery. The hot tea in your tea cup warmed your hands as you tried to enjoy your time alone. Your older brother, England was away on business for a couple days. Hopefully he would be back soon.

He loved you dearly, but lately you’ve been feeling slightly neglected. He hasn’t been as affectionate to you and you were growing worried.  You two always spent time together when you were younger. Having little tea parties and enjoying each other’s company, but lately it seems he’s been looking for ways to not be with you.

You were puzzled at his strange behavior, and wanted to confront him about it. Although, you were pretty sure it had to do with the fact that you were going to move away soon. Knowing that, you would think he would want to spend as much time with his sister a possible before you left.

America had told you the story of his battle for independence, you realized that this must be difficult for England to handle. You just wished he wouldn’t try to handle it by himself.

“What are you thinking about, (c/n)?” Flying Mint Bunny asked as he rested on your shoulder.

“I just feel so bad for England. I’m going to be moving shortly, and he’s been avoiding me.” You said sadly.

FMB looked at you sadly and rubbed up against your cheek lovingly.

“I think he is just sad that you’re leaving. He’s afraid that if he gets too close to you, the pain will be greater when you leave.” The bunny explained.

“Well why doesn’t he just tell me?” you asked.

“Britain has always been difficult. Sometimes it’s hard for him to face the truth.” FMB said.

“Maybe I should confront him about it.” You asked yourself.

“I think that’s a good idea!” the bunny said.

“Will you be there with me?” you asked.

“Of course!” FMB chirped as he fell asleep.

You smiled and finished your tea.

Britain sighed in exhaustion as he hung up his coat on the rack, and loosened his tie. He set his brief case down and quietly headed to the kitchen. He gasped out of surprise when he saw you sitting at the table. You had a tired look in your eyes as if you’ve been waiting for him.
“Welcome back.” You said quietly.

“(c/n), a-are you alright?” he asked.

“No not really, can we talk?” you asked.

“Now is not the best time, love.” He said as he went over to the cupboard.

Furrowing your eyebrows in frustration when he once again brushed you off. That was the last straw! Standing up from your seat, you grabbed onto his wrist. He looked back at you with a shock look.

“Britain, either you talk to me now or never!” you stated.

He stared at you with a guilty look and sighed, “Alright, love.”

You both sat down at the table, and Britain noticed Flying Mint Bunny resting on your head.

“I know why you’ve been avoiding me lately, but why won’t you talk to me about it?” you asked.

He looked down at the table, not wanting to meet your said gaze.

“I know this must be hard on you, but if we just talked about it more often then it won’t be as bad for you when I leave.”

You noticed him slightly wincing when you mentioned you leaving.

“Britain, please listen to your sister.” Flying Mint Bunny spoke.

He sighed in defeat and grasped your hand gently, “(c/n) I’m so sorry, love.” He said sadly.

“Just the thought of you leaving is almost too much for me to handle.” He muttered.

“Britain, you need to realize that I won’t be gone forever. I’ll always come and visit you!” you stated.

“You would do that?” Britain asked.

“Of course, you’re my brother and I love you.” you smiled.

England felt his heat warm at your words, and pulled you into a hug, “I love you too, (c/n).”

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The day finally came. Today you would be leaving England, and heading back to your nation. So far, England has been pretty supportive, which surprised you. Maybe he finally accepted the fact that you were now your own country.

Britain’s hand clutched yours when the jet was arriving closer to your land. Looking out the window, you saw one of the most beautiful island you ever seen.

“You’re country is lovely, dear.” Britain spoke.

“It is…” you said in disbelief that you were actually the personification of this island.

The jet finally landed, and the both of you simultaneously stood up and headed out of the jet onto the warm sandy beach. Your hair flowed with the gentle breeze of the wind as you looked at your surroundings.

“(c/n)…” Britain started.

You looked back and was met with his warm smile, “I know I don’t say this enough, but I am extremely proud of you.”

“You are?” you asked.

“Of course I am. You are a brave, intelligent, and beautiful woman, and I am proud to call you, my sister, an independent country.”

“Aw…! Britain!” you cried as you hugged him tightly.

He gladly hugged you back until a quiet cough interrupted the moment. You looked over and saw a young woman standing there looking slightly nervous.

“Hi, (c/n)! My name is _____, and I will be your boss for the perceptible future.” She said holding out her hand.

You smiled and shook her hand, wanting to make a good first impression to your boss.

“Nice to meet you too.” You said.

Looking back, you saw Britain already walking back to the jet. Before you knew it, you ran up to him and hugged him from behind.

“I’ll miss you, big brother!” you say.

Britain turned around and hugged you back, “I’ll miss you too, but for now we must depart. But I’ll see you real soon, alright love?”

“Yeah, okay…” you choked.

You watched as he proceeded to walk back to the jet. Not wanting to see him leave, you quickly turn around to face your boss you gave you a look of sympathy.

“Everything will be alright (c/n), you’ll see him again!” she said happily.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” You say as you follow her.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

That night you lied in bed of your new home. A lonely feeling came over you as you tossed and turned to try to fall asleep. You sighed and sat up in bed. There was no way you were going to fall asleep tonight.

Suddenly a twinkly noise appeared in your room. You gasped in surprise when you saw a very familiar creature floating about.

“F-flying Mint bunny?” you whispered.

“Hi, there (c/n)!” the bunny squeaked as he flew around your head.

“How did you get here?” you asked.

“I’m a magical!” he chirped before resting on your shoulder.

“How is England?” you asked.

“He’s doing really well! Thanks to you!”

“That’s good!” you sighed in relief.

“I came here because I thought you might be feeling lonely.” The bunny said.

“Can you stay here with me for the night?” you asked.

“Of course I will!” the cute creature said before snuggling up next to you.

You closed your eyes and drifted off to dreamland, thinking about the new and wonderful life that awaited before you as the young country of (c/n).
